May we know when you started business?
 I started business since 1988 but this particular one since 2007
Who are you?
 My name is Adetowun Awofeso, I manage Designers' Arcade and Celebrity's Fashion Academy both powered by The Wardrobe. 

What do you do?
 I am a trained Garment Technologist and I provide the production of high quality 'Ready to Wear' fashion/clothes.
We also train and groom Fashion Designers on the international standard of fashion designing to enable them produce quality works that can match other foreign brands.

What’s the major selling point of your brand?
 The major selling point of is our ability to infuse Africanism into English garment creatively and coming out with garments that meet global standard and can compete with others produced outside the country.

What product are you offering the market?
 We offer high quality formal dresses for both male and female

What reception did you get from your customers
 Overwhelm reception and support which was confirmed by the large turnout at our last Fashion show and exhibition in July at Sheraton Hotels and Towers

Why does your brand matter?
 It matters because the brand sets out to take the African fashion industry in Nigeria to the next level

 I studied industrial chemistry first from university of Benin, before going into fashion. I later went to London college of Fashion to study Fashion products development specializing in Garment Technology

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOUR BRAND 5 YEARS FROM NOW
The brand will be a household name with branches in at least ten(10) different parts of the nation. 

WHO ARE YOUR MAJOR CUSTOMERS OUT THERE
 My major customers are those that have unique taste and those that love to know the genuine source of their clothes.  They are majorly the middle income and upwardly mobile hardworking men and women who always want value for their hard earned money.

WHAT ARE YOUR MAJOR GOALS FOR THIS YEAR
 To open a very standard flagship store in Lagos before the end of the year by the grace of God.



What is one characteristic that you believe every leader should possess?
 Every leader must ever be ready to learn more and be ever willing to teach others

How do you encourage creative thinking within your organization?
 Creative thinking is not only encouraged in our organization. It is always being taught. We preach it every time.

Where do the great ideas come from in your organization?
 Great ideas come from synergy of creative thinking from everyone involved in the management of the organization.

What is one mistake you witness leaders making more frequently than others?
 Leader often forget that leaders of today shall become followers again because a time comes you leave the stage and others take over.

Which is most important to your organization—mission, core values or vision?
I do not believe each of these can work out successfully on its own. These re intertwined I must confess. 

Do you set aside specific times to cast vision to your employees and other leaders?
 Not necessarily a specific time but it is shared as often as the need arises.

African Fashion has come of Age with exquisite garment created and sold around the world, the wardrobe has set its sights on lunching the African fashion designers Dream, it will be a joy to watch where this interesting tale ends.
