Born to the family of Mr &Mrs Segun and Tanwa Amusu in Odi-olowo Mushin local government area of Lagos state on the 21 of April 1995. Amusu damilola is the First child of four children in the family. In 1997, he started his Primary at Ketu Alapere in a boarding school and finished his Secondary Education over there.
From a tender age, Amusu Damilola developed a habit of listening to music. At some point, he skipped classes in his primary school days to come back home to listen to some of Nigeria’s musical legends such as Oriental Brothers, The Great Fela Kuti, 2face, Victor Nwaifo, Daniel Wilson, Felix Liberty, Oliver D Coque, Emeka Morocco and a host of other legendary acts, From the moment his parents got to discover this talent of his, they gave enough room for him to progress. They also loved watching him perform.This did not spear him for receiving his share of punishment for skipping classes because students had to be disciplined.
He attended primary and secondary school in Ketu, Alapere and Finally, he progressed to National Open University of Nigeria, Agindigbin Ikeja, Lagos State to study Accounting, The, but he still developed his writing skill and became a perfect song writer, by 2011. Damilola A.K.A Amidammy has written about Seventy songs to show for it.
His writings are based on Marriage, Life, Love and Family which where divinely inspired by God. He kept on writing songs without taking a break up until now.
In 2011, he droped his first single “My Girl” produced by professional producer "Skill P" Then he fell in love with Afro-pop music and Raggea which had an influence in his new hit single titled (STARDESIRE).
In a faithful month of October 2014, Amidammy dream of achieving a major hit was answered when he met with multi talented producer Mic Daviz, the producer who has worked with Nigeria's biggest acts in the likes of: Olamide, Tee Blaq and Hakym, Dammy krane etc. Their talents produced the mega hit we are enjoying today such as Robo by teeblaq, Goodlove by FemiSilva, and STARDESIRE by Amidammy.
