Entertainment news-Chris Brown's Car Searched By LAPD After Gun Tip

Chris Brown found himself in hot water (again) last night in Hollywood when local police searched his car for a possible gun.

The LAPD, acting on an anonymous tip that one of Brown's passengers was carrying the weapon, searched his Lamborghini outside Sayer nightclub in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. Brown was inside already, celebrating at T.I.'s pre-Grammy party; police detained the friend in question, and found no evidence of a gun.

The search comes on the heels of last month's shooting at Brown's concert in San Jose, where five people were injured. He is set to release the album Fan of a Fanwith Tyga on Feb. 24.
