Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini says he is disappointed with his side's 1-1 draw at Chelsea as they created more chances than Jose Mourinho's men.
Loic Remy opened the scoring for the home team before David Silva's equaliser just before half-time.
Chelsea managed only three shots in the game, their lowest figure in asingle Premier League fixture since the 2003-04 season.
"Our team tried to win from the first minute to the end," said Pellegrini.
"I think both teams have a clear style of play. Jose Mourinho has a style for Chelsea and I have a style for my team."
The result means second-placed City remain five points behind the league leaders and Pellegrini said he was "not happy with a point".
He added: "We had three good chances in the first half, they scored with their only chance in the 90 minutes - they did not even have a shot in the second half.
"You may say it is a good point at Stamford Bridge but for me it is not because we were better than Chelsea. I thought that we deserved more than a point because we had clear chances."
Pellegrini believes the reigning champions can still catch Chelsea with 15 league games remaining.
"We wanted to close the gap. We tried to but we couldn't but we still have 45 points to play for," he added.
"It was a very important game but it was not a final. We have time to recover these five points and if we play in the way we played today it will be easier."
